Community Power Group is pleased to announce the completion of a 200kW community solar garden that utilizes the fringe area outside of an agricultural pivot that cannot be used for anything productive. CPG partnered with GRID Alternatives in the development and construction of this solar garden and took the opportunity to use the installation to provide on-site training for future workers in the solar industry with an emphasis on training women. The power from the solar farm will go towards reducing energy costs for low-income communities in nearby Boulder.
