Plans for Galesburg Water Treatment Solar Farm Move Forward

Community Power Group receives approval from the Illinois Power Agency to move forward with a 1,857kWdc, 1,375kWac solar farm in Oquawka, Illinois. The energy from this solar farm will be sold to the City of Galesburg and will generate nearly 100% of the nearby water treatment facility’s energy usage, saving the City millions in energy costs over the life of the project.
