This past Saturday, the Community Power Group team participated in a park cleanup at Fairfax County Park. A big thank you to The Nature Conservancy and the Fairfax County Park Authority for organizing such a wonderful event. It was a great opportunity to explore the park and contribute to the community.
Throughout the day, we enjoyed spotting snakes in the pond, butterflies fluttering around, and, of course, the geese and ducks that call the park home. The team collected about five bags of trash, helping to keep the park beautiful for everyone to enjoy.
This cleanup event is an extension of our commitment to sustainability. Just as we work toward a cleaner energy future, we recognize the importance of preserving our environment at every level. By reducing waste and caring for our natural spaces, we’re reminded of the bigger picture: a cleaner, more sustainable world for all.
